John P. Overington

John was originally trained as a chemist, then moved on to study structural biology, software development and drug discovery. After spells in large Pharma, small Biotech, John has most recently joined the EMBL-EBI as a Team Leader with responsibility for a large public domain database of drug discovery data, covering target discovery, lead optimisation and clinical development.
